IE6.1 wont change homepage

like title says i cant change home page. Im running Microsoft Windows 2kPro SP4 and ie 6 sp1. heres a pic

Have you run any spyware/malware scanners?

AVG / EWIDO scans...

And i guess that you're the administrator right?

The LAST resort would be to repair Internet Explorer.

yea im administrator, no one else could be, im the only one that uses it. if forst fomes to worst, no. i wont repair. i go firefox, and if it still does it, even on that, then i reinstall 2kpro, and dualboot with xp(for multimedia)

UPDATE: its been what, what like 10min? well its found one thing. its called Search.AnyOfUs and there are 19 entries, most are in my winnt folder(system32) and are all url links. 3 folders, spyware uninstall, $** and dating, and online pharmacy. k as i type this, another one. Vcodec.eMedia, one entry, and its a registrey key.

I'm not sure you can do this, but try to install Internet Explorer 7. It's in RC stage, available from MS.

wont work with 2kpro, but ill try neways. removed all spyware...didnt help

Avoid IE7 RC1 like the plague! Check my thread about it in the Windows forum, as wel as the one about iertutil.dll missing.

Trying to remove that thing totally screwed my Windows, and it took using a multi-hundred dollar program to get it back.

Internet Explorer 7 RC1 is working excellent for me, i would use it over 6.0 any day..
