In case anyone was doubting me at all about their fixed prices and taking advantage of the situation
I almost forgot about scouting Seagate's financial records when they dropped for the last few quarters, its disgusting.

Apr 1, 2011: The company shipped 49 million disk drives and reported revenue of $2.7 billion, gross margin of 19.1%, net income of $93 million.
Jul 1, 2011: The company shipped 52 million disk drives and reported revenue of $2.9 billion, gross margin of 19.3%, net income of $119 million.
Sep 30, 2011: The company shipped 51 million disk drives and reported revenue of $2.8 billion, gross margin of 19.5%, net income of $140 million.
Dec 30, 2011: The company shipped 47 million disk drives and reported revenue of $3.2 billion, gross margin of 31.6%, net income of $563 million.

So, last quarter they shipped the least # of drives while reporting the highest revenue, gross margin, and net income by quite a bit (source).

To be accurate you need to compare the same time of the year in two different years.
So, quarter ending Dec 2010, net income of $150 million.
And same quarter the year after, net income of $563 million.

That's bullexcrement.
