There is a way to do it ..and you dont need to take the filter as dsl runs through a fone line to connect the net and you could do this but wouldnt it be easier to connect ur server to the Router and ur pc to the router and ur Neighour has wireless

and btw im the friend he's talkin about, and we live about 15 miles apart ^_^

Practical would be a wireless setup, like suggested.

For 15 Miles? Damn, my wireless only goes a couple hundred feet...
