Replacing major laptop components such a mobo is such a pain! If the warranty covers it have a Dell tech come out and install it for you..

Dell came to the house and replaced the motherboard and processor today. I've had nothing but great service from Dell and would recommend them to anyone on their service contracts alone. Thank you all for your help and/or comments.
