Okay, my computer isn't really working right now. Anyway, let me describe my problems.

First problem is I got a new USB keyboard since my other PS/2 one is broken, and whenever I get to the thing that lets me choose my OS, Ubuntu or Windows XP, the keyboard won't work and wont let me scroll down to pick XP, and I NEED to get into XP.

Second, is that in Ubuntu my sound isn't working. Everything is plugged in and on, but I do not get any sound. I have a sound blaster live! 24 bit and x-530s. I'm not sure if they work on Windows, as I can't boot to it.

Finally, every single time my computer loses power and I reboot up, it doesn't detect my 2nd harddrive. I have to manually go into my BIOS to detect it. It's annoying...

PLEASE, HELP ME!!

1. Go get a PS/2 keyboard.
2. Go into your BIOS and enable "USB Keyboard Support"
3. Boot to Ubuntu
4. sudo apt-get install module-assistant
5. sudo m-a prepare
6. sudo m-a auto-install alsa

Still, no sound. :(

Also, I enabled the keyboard, and it does work, but now when I pick XP it gives me a disk read error or something.

:(
