This is the box my neighbor and I made and surprisingly it works quite well. Yes that is US postal service tape and there is nothing under it except a wood frame and cardboard on the top for support. The sides are completly tape no cardboard.

Hahaha! That's awesome! I bet it swells when the bass hits. Just dont power it with a high-power amp, or you'll blow out the cardboard

O it wont bust that is layer upon layer o tape. I would blow the speakers before it busted.

The best 'home made' subwoofer I have seen is my friends brother had some spare glass, and made one out of that. That was pretty cool, especially cause he put LED's in it.

I think I am going to use plexiglass when i get my car...the only problem is where to get 1 to 1 1/2 inch thick plexiglass.

Yes that arrow is pointing to a sprite bottle that I used to port my subwoofer.

Defiantly go with some MDF or birch wood instead

Tonight, I will post pics of the cabs I made. Their not ghetto like the stuff in here and their properly made, and cost 8$ a peice not including grills or carpet
