I was bored at work with nothing to do, so i decided to make an RTD (Rich text Diagram) of the network in my bedroom
Modem:<a href="http://www.ebuyer.com/product/114157">D Link DSL-320T Modem</a>
Router:<a href="http://games.dlink.com/products/?pid=370&#DGL-4300">D Link DGL-4300 Gaming Router</a>
Radio:<a href="http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0490531/Trail/searchtext%3EMINISTRY+OF+SOUND.htm">MOS Internet Radio</a>
An awesome little radio which connects to the internet and streams radio stations. great for an alarm clock too. nothing like waking up to Vrigin Classic Rock
NAS HDD:<a href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SATA-Network-250GB-Hard-Drive-NAS-File-Server-xbox-360_W0QQitemZ110224215118QQihZ001QQcategoryZ16178QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem">Network Harddrive Enclosure</a> + <a href="http://www.ebuyer.com/product/122660">160GB 7200RPM Seagate HDD</a>
The HDD + NAS enclosure means i can have a dedicated HDD on the network which can be used for storing music + movies + backup stuff. at the moment i have it primarily for storing "acquired" movies, which i then access from my 360 over the network and play on surrond sound while in bed
everything else kinda explains itself
what's everyone elses home network like? Discuss
