i dont even knowwhy you are considerign a 4850x2. so many have advised against it for its price it will only be faster then the hd4870 in some games on general the 4870 and gtx280/core 216 will also be faster save yourself some cash and get the core 216 as recomended. also members here have had enought trouble with there 4870x2 ask akubane. dont waste your time with a card liek the 4850x2.

I too recommend a single card solution. GTX 260 216 or a single 4870. Not that a 4850x2 is a bad card....but I've just never been a fan of dual GPU solutions. I had crossfire once, and overclocking was quite difficult due to the sheer amount of heat the two cards chucked out....it was nice for benchmarks...but my single 4850 is really quite enough. At its clocks it pretty much murders most games out there

Ummm the GTX260 is not as fast as the 4870x2. Not even close.

never said anything about a 260 being faster then a hd4870x2??? please read a post the onli time i mentioned the 4870x2 at all was when i was talking about the problems many have had, which is strugle well worth it for the worlds most powerfull video card. akubane and ste both had touble shooting threads for there gpu as one gpu didnt work for both of them. never did i say any gtx card is faster then a 4870x2 you clearly didnt take your time to read.
