NathanM is right. My brother has that MOBO in his PC and when we built it, we did the opposite. Then after reading the manual closely... We discovered that it need to be the way NathanM has it.
I was going to get the Opteron 165, but I just couldn't fit it in my budget.
The motherboard owns but if you get the Zalman HSF you have to remove the backplate to install it, and the backplate is GLUED. You'd have to heat it with a hairdryer to get it off ><.
