RAM Upgrade Question

getting some more memory will probably help...and u can use it when you get a new system...ddr memory will be around for quite a while still....

but the rest of your system will also be holding you back...you have to pop some in and try it...

Good god, I must own a Dell....

Tell me about it. Ive got an older dimension in the closet with a 733mhz celeron and no agp slots, and it came with good ol windows me. The funny thing is i had it running xp with 384mb sdram, 2 harddrives, and dvdrom. Yes it was slow, but it was manufactured in 99 and still boots up till this day. I plan on putting ubuntu on it and making it an internet box.
