Windows games are not working

I tried doing some research on this but could not figure out how to phrase it.

Win7 is installed on C drive. I have set Windows to use D drive as default.

The problem is that the games that came with Win7 (Spider Solitaire, Freecell, etc) are now broken. The shortcuts are generic and seem to point to D instead of within Windows on C. I have even tried launching the games from within Windows on C by running the .exe for them but they do not work. None of them work. All the other games that have been installed on D are fine and work without a hitch.

So, anyone know WTF is going on here?

A long shot but since you had them installed when you installed windows and prior to the registry changes, have you tried disabling the games then re enabling them?

Control panel
add remove programs
turn on or off windows features

Tried moving the file location of the games to your D: drive.
