What language is this code?

Can someone tell me what the heck language this is? I am having a jiffy of a time with a web program that requires some custom coding, but cant figure it out...basically this combination of symbols below gives me a "SPACE" in a paragraph..

So if I wanted space after this comma,#^%This would have to be inserted otherwise it looks like,this. and not like, this.

That looks like script for web pages. The samething that IE uses for spaces when they RSS Feed their stories.

Sorry i cant be more specific about what the code is exactly but that is what it looks like.

Try HTML or CSS. That should help you out more than my previous post. I will ask a few friends that more about coding than me and see what they have to say.

It's CSS. No way it's HTML. Those are special characters for HTML, so go with CSS.

Ok..so there should be some place where they say #^%=space and #$^=enter or something like that? Well this is for sure a step in the right direction for me, thanks to all!!
