Actually I believe he is from the Netherlands, Also he is the only DJ to ever do the opening music for the Olympics which were held in Greece. Hence his album Parade of Athletes. Which I consider one of his best albums

He was born in Breda, Netherlands please correct me if I'm wrong. Im assuming that those Greek Flags on his site are from the record he did in Greece for the '04 Olympics.

If you want something more underground may I suggest Schiller.

I wouldn't label Tiesto's music as "gay club music" I think Oakenfold or DJ Sammy fit that catagory a little better...but to each his own. If you want something to rock your skull may I also suggest Zoo, Leviathan, Enzyme-X, Hellsystem, and or Placid K
