Upgrading laptop monitor

Hi!

I wondered if anyone could advise if it's possible to upgrade a standard HD laptop monitor and the difficulty in doing so? Details of my system are below to
if needed. I feel my system isn't being fully utilised with the monitor I currently have. Many thanks.
