Dynamic Disk in XP home
Hey guys, I have a friend who's Hardrive has possibly failed, more likly it has something to do with the fact that it has been set up as a dynamic drive. I have a computer on regular XP with an SATA drive, I normally have a IDE secondary running. Her Computer suddenly can not find any boot record to load windows so I am trying to plug her drive into my computer but windows will not pick it up. When I look in my Bios the drive is there and it shows up properly, it is even in my hardware monitor under windows but it is not in my computer or assigned a drive letter so I can not access it.....I just want to get al her files off it, any ideas?? it is a maxtor 80 gig drive....
