well one thing is for sure, Intel is doing a lot better in marketing, their P4's out-perform the Athlon XP's but not by that much; people always tend to stick with whatever they think they like better, for example McDonalds don't have as good food as stores like say, Red Rooster or KFC but McDonalds are a hell of a lot better at SELLING their food. It's a bigger popularity contest than it is a production contest
