I got bored and decided to look at physics books on amazon.com

When i stumbled across this:Amazon.com: Part 1 (Landolt-Bornstein: Numerical Data and Functional Relationships in Science and Technology - New Series) (9783540493143): I. Wichterle, J. Linek, Z. Wagner, J.-C. Fontaine, K. Sosnkowska-Kehiaian, H.V. Kehiaian: Books

10,000USD Woah.

The best part is that "For 2000usd you can upgrade this book to annotate it online" wow..

To my astonishment, it also has 2 reviews. But i'm not sure if the 2 guys are joking or not :p

either way, that much for a book, really ?

No way man. Has to be one big joke, just look at the reviews. If somehow that's the actual price of the book, it better replace four 12 to 16 credit terms plus books and lab fess at a community college. 10k is a brand new Yamaha R6.

It could be that a number of amazon listings are there purely to expand the range but are prohibitively expensive. For example amazon may claim to have 120000 different products when in fact they have 100000 by making the other 20000 so expensive that nobody would ever buy them.
