I've got some cashflow coming in, and was wondering if it'd be worth it to build a new computer.
My current specs for those who can't read a signature are..
Asus M2N-E SLI motherboard
AMD X2 4000+ OCed to 2.4ghz
3 Gigs of OCZ PC6400 dual channel 800mhz ram
Ultra / X-Finity / 500-Watt
XFX 8600 GT
Would it be worth it to completely upgrade, keep in mind if I do not, I will be getting an evga 9800GTX+ still. Maybe I should just upgrade the processor and gpu, and leave the rest?
My main question is this, with that minor upgrade, will I still be able to play the top games on med-high settings that are going to be coming out for the next 1-2 years? Because if so, then I think I can hold off. If I did rebuild, I think I could keep my SATA hdd, and the ram. What do you guys think?
