Search Memory

Hello All .. new guy here. Hope this question is in the right place. You know when you do a google search and the first letter you type brings up any other search associated with that letter? This is also anywhere where you go to fill something in. Lets say you have your mohter sitting next to you and you are looking up a recipie for Brownies and as soon as you type "B", the first thing that pops up is "Big Boobs".... What mechanism do you use to erase these previous search reminders. The computer remembers stuff even from years ago. No matter what I clear, cookies, etc..... all previous entered information is kept.
