Good evening,
A couple of pages ago I was asking about an 8 port sata card (thanks for your replies) and I was under a misapprehension that I needed sata ports on the card http://www.computerforums.org/images/smilies/redface.gif
....now I realise that I could use a sas 1 to 4 connector cable, but what I would like to know whether buying the HighPoint RocketRAID 2680 SAS RAID Controller 8-ch SAS/SATA, Support SATA Raid 0,1,5,10,JBOD, PCI-E x4, NCQ, Low Profile would be a quicker/easier way to go rather than trying to find a card with just 8 sata ports.
I am wanting to get it as fast a data transfer rate as possible.
