router disconnected my modem

Hi everyone,

my family is using at&t internet,
and we are using modem and router to share the internet to multiple computers

I and my sister computers are connecting to the modem,
and the rest of my family are connecting to the router

In recently, I and my sister computer keep disconnecting
not disconnect, but the internet is very slow, can't even go to Google

And I figure out that when i turn off the router, the connection will fix

I have no idea why this would happen, so i want to ask why is like this?

and what is the solution?

Go to YouTube and type in, "My computer is disconnecting from the wireless internet". Go to the video that is labeled "10 Steps to fix your internet".

Rather watch that then type all of it out, that should help.

And make sure your router can support multiple devices at once, that could be causing the lagging issues and also your cabling.

Could also be your ISP (Internet Service Provider), depending on what type of internet connection speed you are paying for.

Personally, I had AT&T and went back to Comcast(xfinity).
