Problem logging on aim

I am on a new laptop....everything has been working fine until yesterday with AIM. Everytime I try to log on it says "sign on failed try again"

It has been working fine for a couple days. This is sudden. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall and that hasn't worked. I've also checked my firewall and there doesn't seem to be any problems there. Anyone know what this could be?? Its really a pain....

Also, my internet is fine, obviously.

This may sound stupid but are you using the correct password and sign on name?

yes....i've tried a couple diff. s/n's and they are all giving me the same message.

yeah...its the new aim on their website that i downloaded/isntalled

have you tried a other messenger software? if you havent, try download msn messenger, make an account right quick and see if you can sign it.
