Hey,
I'm having trouble getting sound from my HDTV when connected to my computer.
Connected through HDMI cable
TV: Vizio E470i-A0
GPU: GTS 250
Under nvidia control panel > set up digital audio > the hdmi is set to my TV.
Under the sound settings, only my speakers are shown on the "playback" tab and on "recording" tab it now shows a stereo mix that looks like a video card, it is checked.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the sound drivers.
My video works just fine. I have my monitor and TV set to duplicate these displays. When watching a video, my speakers give out sound but nothing from my TV.
I unplugged my speakers but that didn't do a thing for my TV. I changed digital output to off, dolby digital, and PCM. Also changed analog to fixed and variable. I tried all those combinations and nothing.
Any ideas?
