Newb...first attempt at building pc

I need some help people...I attempting my first build and I need some info on whether this will be a good build or not?

Antec Nine Hundred Two Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Seagate ST310005N1A1AS-RK 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s

The antec case is an awesome case, I had mine four about a year and I love it. As for the HD IMO a western digital would be a better bet. They are long lasting, good support, and they're TB drives are eco firendly

"I've posted up some on different forums and some suggested switching the processors to the i7...this would mean I need a motherboard that can handle the i7 and I was looking at the EVGA 132-BL-E758-TR LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard...is this okay?"

$2000-$2500...? wow, that's gonna be a sweet system...

I was more or less referring to the fact that the other forum was CF.COM hahaha. That's what I got a kick out of. I just found it ironic.
