my cd player in my car broke so i decided to buy an mp3 player as a replacement. i went with an ipod-- doesn't matter why but it's a 40 gig hd, not a nano (which is flash based). will this still work okay in the car? what's the best way to hook it up?
i bought it second hand just in case i don't like it-- hopefully i will-- and tips? :)

$5 at Radioshack.

the quality will suck in comparison if you use the tape adapter (if you even have a tape deck in the car). I use one and every time i accellerate I hear a whirr in the background.

Look around for a in dash reciever that has an Aux in jack, or ask the people who install them if they can hook one up to the back of the unit (mounting the jack on the dash)

other than that its FM transmitter.

It will work in teh car, but I wouldnt leave it in there.. it can get HOT in a car, and thats not good for electronics....
