the story:
I built my computer a while back and have had time to work out most of its quirks and problem except the problem with my CPU. the CPU is a P4 2.4Ghz and for whatever reason my computer refuses to run it at anything other than 1.8Ghz. Ive done everything from changing jumpers and switching the DSW's to manually changing it in the BIOS using the jumperfree mode. Both have the same effect. Once I say save and exit (if im playing in the BIOS), the system thinks for a minute and hangs till I cut power. My motherboard is a Asus P4T533-C and the FSB is 533/400. If anyonme thinks they can help I'd be extremely grateful and I'll be willing to answer any questions if I haven't given enough info here.
