When running Windows on a Mac does your computer become susceptable to viruses,worms, trojans, etc.? I have always heard that while Mac's are able to get and transmit "malware", it rarely effects operation becasue most of this stuff is written for Windows and won't work in OSX. When you run Windows, does that change? Do you have to install the normal Firewall/AV/AS into Windows when you run it?

If you run Windows its the same as using a regular PC. Your computer will be just as susceptable to viruses as any other computer running Windows. Its all the software and not the hardware. So by choosing to run Windows on your macintosh computer, you open yourself up to the same problems that any other windows user has.
