I have 300w, video card needs minimum of 400w, what do I do?

If you install the card, the computer will either not boot or become very unstable. I highly suggest you get at least 500watts to make sure everything is safe. As for the brands, lets see what the others have to say.

Can anyone tell me why I am running a core 2 duo E6300@3.0ghz, with a 8800GTS with 1 optical drive. 2 hard drives, 2 led case fans, 2 cold cathodes all with a 300WATT psu?

(I did not intend to use this power supply but my 500 watt crapped out on me so i had to use this one and it works so i'm not getting a new psu until this one dies, which should not be long...)
