HP iPAQ h1945 HELP!

Ok so this was given to me & the lady that gave it to me said all I needed was to charge it & get a memory card. well all it came with when she gave it to me was the sync usb cable. can I use that to charge it (like with a PS3 controller) or do I need a wall charger? could I need a new battery? she said she hasnt used it in a few years. really want this to work

A search could do wonders. It has its own AC Adapter cable, so you will have to get that replaced. It also came with a Battery Charger as well. So you might have to replace that as well. We cant tell you if it needs a new battery if you have never even charged up this one to see if it works.

I did do searches the reason I was asking was because I had read somethings off of google that I had found that said you coud use the USB sync cord to charge from your computer that was what i was wondering. thanks for your input & time.
