How do you enable HDR and AA in oblivion?

I installed the driver from ati thats suppose to let you use both HDR and AA at the same time but it still won't let me. Is there something else I have to do.

I believe that you have atleast x1900 series gfx card, and a special patch to do so.

You need either a X1800 or X1900 card and the patch. You can't be using an X--- series of card because those only have SM2.0 (HDR needs 3.0)

i don't know..... but I think you need to download a patch in oder to run HDR and AA at same time. Just google it

I have an x1900xt (hehe...bet you would have never guessed that, but anyway). What would make me want to use AA and HDR at the same time??

Is that a "patch" or a totally new driver? Basically, do I have to unistall the old driver to install this one or is it just an overlying patch?

I ahve the patch that ATI put out and an XTX and it still dosent work, thats what i was saying. And why would you want AA and HDR? Because it looks better and at 1600x1200 it will look even better.

IIRC, HDR gives you more dynamic and realistic lights and shadows. And AA smoothes everything out.
You don't really need AA if your resolution is 1600x1200 or you have a really big monitor. But if you could run both HDR and AA and still have high fps then you might as well run them both.
