Also I need to know if you have real player installed.

Removed real player through Add & Remove, removed both suggestions, full shut-down & powered up, ran AVG and picked up same stuff, I'll post new picture and new hjt log. I appreciate you helping me out Saxon. If you think this is too embedded, there's nothing on this laptop I need to save if you think it'd be easier for me to format.

I'm not sure but it seems like I'm picking stuff up in video chat in a program called tinychat. The people in the room I'm in are good peeps but there's some haters and trolls that creep in.

Well I can tell you right now, that a lot of those are false positives. Almost all those files that it says are trojans located in the C:\Windows\system32 folder are legit Windows processes. Many of the others are legit as well.

DWM.exe is the User Interface for Windows Vista/Windows 7. Desktop Windows Manager is the name for it. Completely legit.
Explorer.exe is what is used by Windows to display, just about everything. Anytime you have a window open, explorer is in use.
Intellipoint is used by Logitech for its devices, completely legit.
All the Dell stuff is the drivers to operate the laptop.
Heck if you look at the last entry, it found itself to be a infection.

So yeah you are not infected, but you do have an issue with your install of AVG or they have an issue with the virus definition update. Cause those are not infections.

I've isolated the problem and what I consider the virus. It appears as KSoD says to be normal windows operation but on the 19th (a day before I came in here to post) is when I picked this thing up. What it seems to do is duplicate normal operations until system is nearly impossible to use because of system resources. I've had it up to 700,000k w\100% cpu usage when starting multiple firefox and\or chrome windows. It grows with the users use and only until I flip the switch to kill my internet connection does it start to die off. I'll also post a link to mbam's site as I also have tried this same thing (in safe mode) with the same results. Many others are starting to pick this 'virus' up or whatever it is...

svchost trojan cannot be removed by mbam - Malwarebytes Forum

I uninstalled AVG with no luck getting rid of this virus. So I brought up task manager and tried ending process with no luck so I brought up resource manager and right clicked the correct svchost.exe winrscmde and suspended the operation from running and it gave me my computer speed back! :) Unfortunately, the virus is still on the machine and now I have to go re-download an anti-virus.
MWSnap047.jpg

I'm just shooting in the dark playing off of Mak's statement of "normal operating process' " but could this trojan horse come in and set someone's computer up as a server? I don't have access to the first or second picture to change anything?
MWSnap048.jpg

MWSnap049.jpg

I'm going to install a fresh copy of 7 to fix this problem but that's not going to help the next person.

I was forced to go ahead with the fresh install, but I'd like to swallow my pride and ego and lend as much information as I can through my last mistakes with working on this problem. First, I downloaded Avast and it picked up the virus trying to use my computer as a server and connect to an outside domain right after installing Avast. My biggest mistake came when I didn't have a restore point established before I let Avast reboot (which is what avast does different than most other AV's) but when it restarted it was stuck on recovery loop. That's why I was forced. I also talked with a penetration tester (AKA hacker) and he asked if I had my firewall up when they where hitting my machine and AVG was picking it up. My answer (gulp) was NO, I didn't. Then he asked if I had free AVG or paid and I have free. He suggested paid Kaspersky for a harder firewall to penetrate. The best solution would have been a virtual operating system running which fools the hackers. He said they like to set other people's computers up to use as servers then hack other people's connection through that compromised computer. Unfortunately, we have to live in a world with a bunch of evil thieves! Hope this info has helped, :) good luck and happy computing

Okay first, sorry but you posted on Christmas. There was no way I could get onto a PC and tell you what was going on. It was after all a major holiday and one that I was spending with family.

Yes your computer was hijacked. It was hijacked via the Remote Desktop interface. This is why I suggest people turn it off unless it is needed to be on per request of someone. This is what can happen.

Sorry you were forced to do a reinstall, but it was a Holiday with family in from all over the country. No way I could have told you. This is one of the few times I had more than 2 minutes to access my PC since the 23rd.

Last but not least, no you dont need a Virtual OS, Firewall or any of that other crap. I do not have any of that crap running and guess what, I have not been compromised in years. I have had some people try but never get past the hardware firewall built into my router. So all you really need is a good router and common sense. I dont know where this "Hacker" got his knowledge, but simply put that stuff he said is overkill and not necessary for home users. With over 25+ years of experience I think I have a clue what I am talking about.

It's cool Mak, I was going to do a fresh install anyway, I was just trying to work with the problem for others if they end up with the same issue. I know you have a good idea about the computer and appreciate what you done over the years. Keep up the good work, peace
