I've got a really nice setup with my Magnavox 37" HD LCD TV and Gears of War.. but there's this really weird lag. For whatever reason there's a delay between the time I shoot and the time it hits/registers on the opponent. I have no idea what it is but I'm absolutely sure it's not lag. I've played Gears for 6+ months now and know a ****** connection from a solid one.
Anyone know about anything called a "calibration disc" that I can get from Circuit City or Best Buy? Supposedly you pop it in and calibrate delays and change color settings, I guess it optimizes everything.. anyone heard of this? If not, what other suggestions do you have? I've already configured my 360 to run at 720p (don't have 1080p ) but that doesn't do anything for the delay. From what I understand LCDs have refresh rates and this could be the problem. A guy I was talking to said something about a 6 second refresh rate, a 6+ second refresh rate and a 10+ refresh rate, but it means nothing to me.
Any ideas on this guys?
