thanx for the help you guys. i don't know why windows did that to me, but i did fix it. i used norton partition magic, and it found that other 60 gb's of "unallocated space". ta-da. so i created a partition with it and then merged it with the existing 126gb partition. give that a try gaming_freak and you can uncover 30gb of space.

XP Has NO Problem Reconising Hard Drives Over 130GB You Are Just Not Updating If You Had All Updates Like SP1 Or SP2 You Wouldnt Have That Problem. I curruntly Have 240GB Hard Drive So...... P.S Sata Drives Do Have Jumpers Try Looking At Yours Because Mine Do.
