Geek Movies “Live Free or Die Hard”

Live Free or Die Hard also know very heavily as Die Hard 4 is considered a geek movie. The whole concept behind the movie is a former employee of the US Cyber Division Thomas Gabriel(Timothy Olyphant) is fired along with being fired they destroy his name and reputation. He wants revenge for what they did so he sets out to destroy the entire country electronically using other hackers Matt Farrell (Justin Long) an innocent hacker who gets caught in the cross fire and is recruited by John McClane (Bruce Willis) to help him stop Gabriel.

This movie had lots of realism all the hackers in the movie used Alienware or Dell Laptops. There were key words in the movie like satcoms, encryption and algorithm. The use of streaming video and D-Link web cams was also added to the movie to add realism of the whole technology aspect. They even used satellite tracking systems in cars and cell phones to add to the whole "Everything is computerized these days" style of the movie. Overall this was a great movie realistic and a great cast.

I remember watching that. They used an encryption program to decrypt something :| Other than that very picky point, wasn't a terrible film. I liked the

 

"destruction" of the capitol building

Yea movie was pretty good. But ive never seen a phone like his that can literally plug into anything and change into satelite mode without any drivers or anything -.- Its like he has a mini R2D2 in his palm.

But as the fourth installment in the Die Hard series... FAIL... Worst Die Hard.
