French versus English

Now I have another question. If I install Windows XP Professional (English version) over my present Windows Xp Home Edition (French edition), will I be able to do so without having to reinstall all my present programs?

Windows does not accept foreign language versions to install over itself

try format c: first and reinstall all programs..they will work fine
