If the bios is messed up yeah he needs a new mobo. Try setting bios to factur defualts. go into bios and hit f5 i think or w/e the key is to set defaults and see if that works.
finally , thats the mobo model not what you tought , its an ECS mobo (one of the worst manufacturers) and the processor is solderd to it yuck , the manual is all black & white , anyway get into "standard cmos features" and press F3 to start hd auto detection.. , save & exit , if it still wont boot then try a reinstall , let me know how it goesErdrickk said:Also in Big White letters is:
