Hi everyone! Went into Add/Remove Windows Components today to see if IIS was there (forgetting that I was on a MCE computer, thought it was Pro!) and to my suprise I saw it was there?! Isn't MCE just XP Home edition but a bit more swankier?

Anyway, I installed it and it's working like a dream!

See for yourself: http://announce.ath.cx

I beg to differ. MCE is still unable to join a domain, which is a XP Pro function.

MCE = Home Edition "with it's themes and media capabilities"

I beg to differ with you :) MCE IS able to join a domain, although it cant be done inside the OS, it can be enabled during an installation

Yes, If you had not replied, I would of been very strong about that Raffaz lol, we have a MCE at college, all joined onto the domain..

So, as I said, MCE is XP PRO with it's fancy themes, and media centre capabilities.
