Cisco router and SonicWALL WAN connection issue

Hi All,

I am new to this site and I am hoping one of your genius brains can help me or tell me if it wont work.

I have a fibre WAN connection from the ISP which terminates into their panel then goes into a chunky Cisco 3600 or something

Cisco 3600 GE0/0<--->SonicWALL X1

I have a block of IP's (blockA) already statically assigned to this interface x1 on the SonicWALL, I know you can use the whole range when using a static IP by creating the correct address object for the NAT rule. My ISP has kindly sold me some more IP's but not in the same range of IP's (BlockB), not adjacent or in the same subnet as Block A. I cant add secondary static IP to the SonicWALL. My ISP wont enable a second interface on the Cisco so I cant configure a second interface on the SonicWALL.

My question is - if I could talk the ISP into configuring a subinterface on the cisco by doing an encapsulate dot1q 20 and then on the SonicWALL configure a subinterface tagged 20 with the IP addressing for BlockB will it work??

Many thanks and Kind regards,
