Ok,
First time building a computer, honestly, I haven't had to many issues, except for some annoying, but fairly harmless compatibility issues with XP 64.
Anyways... everything pretty much went without a hitch.
Everytime I threw a data disc in the optical drive (havent tried any blue rays yet), it worked fine no problems.
So I go to burn a standard blank CD for a friend.... put in the disc, and about 5 seconds later I get a BSOD.
The BSOD comes back with an error that says
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Stop:0x000000d1 (parameter 1, parameter 2, parameter 3, parameter 4)
SCSIPORT.SYS
This error is the same everytime I insert a blank CD and it happens in the same way.
The drivers are up to date, and I've tried removing and reinstalling the culprit drive.
It baffles me...
Anyone encounter this problem with XP64 bit and an LG Multi drive? Or perhaps had a similar problem?
Any ideas would help.
Thanks everyone
