BOOTMGR Missing!!!!!!!!

Help!!! Today i tried to install windows vista home basic and it wouldnt install so i restarted and now it says BOOTMGR is missing press ctrl.alt.delete to restart

its only letting me install xp home

i dont know, maybe the hdd is a bit faulty?

you can load up the vista installation and have it do the start up fix
