I somehow missed this last year and i spend my life looking at PC stuff, anyone else know this ?

And people in this forum are telling others, "Don't buy the quad core now" it's a waste of money and doesn't have the support.

5 years isn't a lot of time. That could be the life of a PC.

For most end users, that is a life time for a PC. Like I am still upgrading the occasional SKT370 set up from time to time.
