Windows themes?

I tried a few programs out there like styleXP and some other patch that's suppose to allow you to import customized Windows themes from places other than Microsoft. All of them I encounter some sort of error and sort of leads me to believe they are just extremely outdated and possibly don't cover service pack 3. Well, I just want a dark version of the Vista theme... I got the theme but can't find the program that will allow me to integrate it as my new theme. Any suggestions? Web-sites? How-to's?

Windows Blinds worked ok for me.

The latest version of the patched uxtheme.dll for SP3 should be 6.00.2900.3264

Yeah found out I had the wrong version of the patch. They just recently released a version for SP3, explaining the errors. Mak, thanks for the links but none of them answered my main question.
