Unable to update KB 2919355 in Windows 8.1 pro.

Hi I am Rupesh from India and I have installed Windows 8.1 pro on my pc. In order to use some apps I need to install dotnet 4.61 and so while installing it has asked to install update KB 2919355 and while installing the update it is displaying error as this update is not suitable for your operating system.



I have downloaded the update from Microsoft official website and I have tried to install in offline mode.



Please suggest how to install KB 2919355 update successfully on my system.

Are you downloading the 64bit or 32bit version of the install package?

I have downloaded 64 bit file. I am sure because when I view the properties of the file in Windows explorer I am able to see in details tab.

And you have 64bit Windows 8.1 installed, right?

Can you please post the exact error message, including any error codes that it gives.
