Problems with some apps not being able to save files in WIN 11 22H2

Windows 11 has been functioning smoothly on desktop computers. I've noticed some odd permission issues since installing 22H2 last week, but not for all applications. I edit RAW files with Photomatix Pro 6. I receive Unauthorized modifications prohibited when it tries to save the updated file (after converting from RAW to JPG). blocked folder under control. When I try to download and save a photo from Facebook, the same thing occurs. The identical problem does not exist for me with Canon Digital Photo Professional 4. I had no problems running these programmes or saving files prior to the 22H2 update.

Any ideas as to why just some programmes have issues storing files and where I should look to change a permission?
