My new biostar m7ncg nforce igp shows error code "FF" on the post card. I've turned off the computer and pulled the memory out. Now, I am running motherboard, powersupply, amd cpu with heat sink and still getting "FF" error. My computer will not display video even though I have so many video cards to test. I tried using the built-in video card too. Same error code "FF" on the post card.
I tried the post card on another computer and the post card works fine but shows 06 with the computer loading windows and working fine. I've turned off the second computer and pulled out memory and it shows C1 error. The C1 error means missing or bad memory. The bad part is when I took out the cpu on the second computer. It shows the dreaded "FF" error. Is "FF" error a cpu problem or motherboard? When I've put back the cpu on the second computer, the post card shows 06 again and windows loads.
My first computer is Amd anthlon and second computer is intel celeron. I can't swap cpu to test them.
