Internet slows down after a couple of hours.

My ISP is at&t and everytime when i go on the internet it seems to slow down after a couple of hours. Can anyone help me find a solution to this? Early in the morning my router is fine and runs perfectly but a little bit in the day it starts slowing down drastically. Can anyone help me?

I'm not sure what goes on in the USA, but everywhere I've lived in (3 countries so far), the speeds vary throughout the day. I think it has to do with the ISP's policy. Check with your ISP, and they will give you more information. For me, connection speeds are at their max from 12am to 12pm, and then it becomes really slow from 12pm to 12am. Ifigure thats normal. Is that what is happening to you? Don't worry about it. The thing is that the ISP's first priority is bandwidth for firms, then home users.

Oh okay, yeah i'll rather not call my ISP though, at&t they put you on the phone for hours for just a simple question like that. Thanks for the reply though.
