Can you still send messages if you block port 25 in Firewall?

I want to be sure my email is not being used to send spam, however; I still want the email that I send manually myself to still get to the receiver end. What would be the best way to implement this. This is on the outgoing end btw.

Most firewalls block port 25... smtp is a huge spam port. Thats why a lot of mail clients use 993/995 in and 465/557 out.. your phone, thunderbird, outlook ect will use these ports.
