internet gaming issue

I'm not sure if this would be posted here, but i think so. Anyways, whenver i try to play certain online games, like at miniclip.com for instance the page will load, but the game will not. I'm running Xp, I have cable access and am using Firefox. at the bottom of firefox it just states that it's contacting macromedia. Is there a download that i need or is it a setting that could be causing this?

your probably need to download shockwave to play those games or somethin is wrong wit your java.

Check your privacy status in firefox at ..
>Tools
>Options
>Privacy tab.
Or check the Advanced tab and clear all those security features.
