Wireless network disappears

Hello everyone

I have a really annoying problem.. My wireless network disappears sometimes. Like, for example i will turn my laptop on in the morning and it will pick up other networks fine but not mine so i keep having to delete the network and configure it all again, then i have to restart it numerous times.

Anyone know why it's doing this and how can i fix it?

Signal strength good? Look to some interference issues like wireless phones or microwaves. Also if you are in an area with a lot of networks if other people are using the same channel as you it's going to cause your signal to go in and out sometimes. Look to changing the channel you are using.

There are free programs out there that can scan other networks and see what channel they are using.

I think Lex's response about sums it up. There's some other things that you can check as well: ensure that the router is not turned off/rebooting at the time this occurs, also I would recommend having SSID broadcast on while you're troubleshooting as this may be related.
