to be honest, this is not the first time i have heard about this "feature". as an "average" user, your probably right, most of this stuff i will not ever NEED to change. but, it does let me have some insight to all the things that CAN be changed. and knowing about these things will likely encourage me to try changing things. if for no other reason than to see what they are all about. the thing that makes me different from the average user is while i still do not KNOW what i am doing, i have enough experience to approach this scientifically. which means changing one thing at a time, and KEEPING REALLY GOOD NOTES of what i did, and how things changed.
